Gearing all young Kiwis to understand their everyday finances since 2008.

Financial education for youth by youth.

Our Vision.

SavY aims to promote good financial habits in all youth, regardless of  their background or aspirations in life. We believe that good financial  habits should be promoted alongside other similar life skills currently taught in schools.

We hope to initiate a change in attitudes, where financial literacy is viewed more as a habit rather than a skill. The charitable trust is designed to enhance the financial literacy of youth in New Zealand by providing greater access to information and resources.

To do this, we run FREE, hour-long financial literacy workshops in  secondary schools. The workshops are fun, interactive and presented  by two trained young facilitators from universities all over the country.

SavY then aims to provide continuing support to the students that take part in our workshops through our website and our Facebook page.

We hope that access to such information will help change spending  behaviour and encourage better decision making.

Get Involved.

All workshops are FREE, cater to approximately 30 students, and fit within 1 period. These presentations allow for interaction, activities and discussion between students and facilitators, drawing in from real-life examples.
